BBC not using 0870 numbers

By switching from 0870 numbers to 03 numbers the BBC is signalling its intent.

The BBC is now using 0370 numbers and not 0870 numbers. This means that people can now contact these new numbers for the same cost as a standard landline (starting 01 or 02) even from a mobile phone. One major benefit is that the 03 numbers are often included in the free minutes you get with your mobile phone plan.
